WE ARE IN OUR SITE….YEA!

Tuesday, December 3 – Ahhhh......full-hookups! We moved into our site this afternoon after a three-day delay. We don't mind dry camping entirely but have sure gotten use to full-hookups. Nice to be able to use all the modern utilities.

We are in site #1.

We usually are on the other end of the campground, Site #10, but feel this site is the best! It has a very nice patio and extra grass area with no one on our door side. We are next to the pool, but it obviously isn't in use this time of year. So a nice private patio is a joy!

Bella always thinks the grass is greener on the other side of the fence.

We joined our neighbors by putting out some Christmas decorations. We kept it manageable, but if Marsha gets her way, it may expand.....LOL. She's decorated the inside of the RV too.

Christmas

Marsha flies back to Ohio tomorrow. She will be there four days longer before Christmas than last year. She said she needs more days to get all the shopping, baking and lunching done. Paul will fly back on December 19; Carrie the 22. Guess Bella and Paul will live like bachelors for awhile.

Thanks for stopping by. Hope to see y’all back real soon. Hope you have a great day!

  3. Hook ups are really nice. Especially when the weather gets cold and miserable. So is Bella flying back with Paul?

  5. What a nice site...and gotta love those hook ups! Safe travels...I'm sure it's going to be great to do all your Christmas preparations in your own place this year. Let the festivities begin!

  6. We've certainly learned to appreciate those full hookups too. We like them best but usually don't like all the crowds in the areas we have to go to get them.

  8. Nice to have no one beside you. We are expecting neighbours around the 20th ;). Jeri and Terry will be joining us so we can dog-sit our now favourite pet.

  12. We really like our space and space = boondocking. We have all the conveniences we want / need. I'd say we had full hookups about 30% of the time this year.

What a schedule you two have. I thought you were playing "who's on first!"

  14. What will Bella do when Paul leaves? I'm going back into full hookups tomorrow. Looking forward to it. Excuse me while I go turn on my furnace now. Freezing here in Parker overnight.

  15. Enjoy! Extra space with no neighbors is always a good thing. We're heading west to Texas (despite the temperatures), so perhaps our paths will cross.

  16. Good to see you have hook ups again!!!

I don't get to decorate until Dec. 20th when we settle in at Cypress Woods in Ft. Myers.

What happens to Bella while Paul is in Ohio? Even John was wondering!!!

  17. Nice to see you enjoying some sunshine and full hookups! It's not raining here in Oregon right now, so you would enjoy it...except for the temperatures, of course. It's supposed to get up above 40 degrees here today! We had to get out and do some shopping yesterday, so we bought some oranges so we would pretend to be somewhere warm and sunny. They taste good, and it does feel warm...as long as we're inside!
