You had a very busy day, and you captured some great photos! I can't believe it's 85 degrees there...so different from our temps in January. As you said, it is huge and you have to plan what you want to see there. We had a Jeep then and drove off road as much as we could, including coming around a bend and seeing about 15 people on horseback. We were not sure what they were doing there and decided to not ask.

Have fun there and enjoy the beauty.Clark Ramblinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11713435758075556066noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5444152614012496655.post-12706304029089342392018-02-13T11:24:51.996-05:002018-02-13T11:24:51.996-05:00Your photos and descriptions are making me want to...Your photos and descriptions are making me want to return to this remote park. I didn’t realize there were vehicle restrictions to get to the Hot Springs ... we hiked there from the campground with the intent to hike back, but it was to da*n hot so we begged a ride back from someone heading back to RGV ... yes the drive out was a bit of a nailbiter in a few places.Erinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08333995679958103393noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5444152614012496655.post-5196653120855328792018-02-13T08:22:08.824-05:002018-02-13T08:22:08.824-05:00Now you are in my favorite hiking place in Texas.....Now you are in my favorite hiking place in Texas... so many hike to do there...heyduke50https://www.blogger.com/profile/14927304490275027002noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5444152614012496655.post-29616346087895084792018-02-12T23:48:49.112-05:002018-02-12T23:48:49.112-05:00Love the rock scrambling!!
