It's habitat range in the United States is very, very small. I've added it to my list. When we make it back to that area, I would love to see it for myself, so I could add it to my birding life list. I imagine they did at one time but the bikers were probably hard on them. Too bad you didn't hike the new section in Robles Pass. The trails are perfect for anyone, no one seems to know about it yet, and every intersection has a great map. The trails combine for anywhere from three to six miles. And the saguaro are everywhere!! Oh, well...next time! Enjoy Sedona!! Such a beautiful place.
