Thursday, June 28 – We traveled a couple hours this morning from Butte, MT, to Livingston, MT, and the North end of Yellowstone National Park. Our daughter, Carrie, is going to meet us here this evening after work. She's in Billings, MT, and will drive the couple hours here to spend a long weekend with us.
It was another gorgeous drive. Boy had the weather changed. No rain just a lot of heat.
Can you read the sign through our filthy windshield?
We are staying at Osens RV Park and Campground in Livingston, MT. The sites and roads are gravel with a generous grass area between the sites. We have 30 amp electric, water, and sewer connections. There are no 50 amp sites available. There are nice bathrooms and a laundry room. Marsha did laundry when we arrived and said the washer and dryers did a great job. We are on the south side of town, which is the direction we need to travel to Yellowstone Park. We are only 50 minutes away.
Thanks for stopping by. Hope to see y'all back real soon. Have a great day!
Have fun in Yellowstone. Don't get run over by any bison, they think they own the roads there. Sounds like the weather is heating up, so you probably won't need that rain gear now. Back to boring shorts and
ReplyDeleteT's. Enjoy and take care.
Glad you made it there safely and in time for a wonderful weekend with Carrie. Take lots of pictures because we'll all be out here waiting for them.
ReplyDeleteMy brother and family were in Yellowstone on Monday and said they saw lots of animals. Hope you have the same luck. Have a great week-end.

ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend with Carrie and can't wait to see some pics of "Old Faithful", or, as you probably call him - Paul!
Hope you see some wildlife in Yellowstone. We went through there last year and saw nothing! Is this new territory for you? If it is... if you are going through Montana on the 90 be sure to go to Little Big Horn out of Crow Agency, and if you are going through Cody, Wyoming be sure to go to the Buffalo Bill Museums! Have Fun!
ReplyDeleteDid you get to experience much of Yellowstone? I so want to spend time there. John and I were thinking we'd go there this past early spring but then we headed for B.C. instead. Have fun and I hope you have a great 4th of July week!

ReplyDeleteOn your way east, make sure to hit Theodore Roosevelt National Park in ND, the south unit. We saw lots of wildlife.
ReplyDeleteAs far as Deadwood, don't take my impression. You might like it. Gosh I might have had I not seen it how it was a few years ago.
