Saturday, March 16 – Carrie arranged for us to join her friends at a local bar to help the Irish celebrate St. Paddy's Day.
These young folks sure know how to celebrate. It's exhausting just trying to keep up! We spent several hours listening to the bands, talking with Carrie's friends, and drinking green beer.
Soon it was obvious that time had arrived for the “old guys” to hit the road. Don't want to hamper the young peoples' style, you know. Had a good time and headed home to watch some NCAA basketball.
Everyone enjoys green beer at the St. Patrick's day celebration.
Paul enjoying all his free stuff…including those sexy sunglasses.
The Big Dance, NCAA Tournament, should be exciting with many equally good teams fighting for the National Championship. This is an exciting time of the year for college basketball fans. We will be pulling for Ohio State. Good luck, Shoeless Joe, with your Indiana Hoosiers.
Thanks for stopping by. Hope to see y'all back real soon. Have a great day!
Looks like you had a great day with the young folk, but then I would need to head home before I make a fool of myself.

ReplyDeleteI think you guys do a great job of keeping up with the young'uns. We don't try anymore. Not a basketball fan so I'll just hope your team wins, or John's or ??? LOL
ReplyDeleteEveryone looks "green". Is it green with jealousy or green because of too much green beer?
ReplyDeleteAmericans celebrate holidays much more than Canadians. Such fun!
ReplyDeleteGotta love those socks...on someone else! Paul's lookin' good in those St. Paddy glasses!
ReplyDeleteFun times! As for us, we will cheer for Butler University. We'd better or Daughter # 3 would get us! Then, D.D. #2 might do the same for not cheering for IU. But, Butler did beat IU.
ReplyDeleteLove the tiny hats and Paul's sunglasses.
ReplyDeleteSorry I haven't been reading recently ... too busy here in NOLA ... can't even keep up with my own blog ;-) Hopefully Buccaneer SP in two weeks' time will afford time to relax.
ReplyDeleteLove the socks!
