Thursday, July 24, 2014 - WHEW...... The wedding weekend is over! What a beautiful bride and handsome groom. We don’t have the professional photos yet, and it seems everyone was watching the bride and groom and didn’t really get any head on photos.
Family and friends gathered from as far away as Arizona, Texas, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Michigan, and all around Ohio to celebrate Kelly and Dave's wedding. Everything went without a hitch and even mother nature cooperated by ending a summer shower just before the ceremony began.
Not the best shot, but the Weaver group.
The church was full to witness the exchange of vows and many tears of joy were seen in the eyes of family and friends. It's such a blessing to see this wonderful couple begin their life together.
The reception was a joyous celebration and everyone danced the night away, ate 1000's of delicious homemade cookies, feasted on an amazing buffet, and took a zillion pictures. Oh yeah, a few adult beverages were consumed too!!!
Paul and Dave after a few “adult” beverages.
Marsha then had an “open the gifts” party on Sunday where family and a few friends could share the excitement of opening gifts with Kelly and Dave. We tried to whittle away at the mountain of leftover food, enjoyed looking at the many iPhone pictures of the festivities, shared some laughs and eventually wished the bride and groom a happy farewell as they left for their honeymoon.
Now to clean-up this mess..... :-)
We will share a few professional photos at a later date. If you are interested in seeing many, many more photos of this wonderful, blessed celebration, here is the link
