Of course we may run out of money by the time we get to Houston, so who knows where we will be

If anyone out there in Blogland will be in these areas during our time, please let us know. We would enjoy meeting up with you. Also, if you have visited these areas and really enjoyed a certain sightseeing spot, place to eat, campground (within our frugal budget) or hiking area, we would love to add it to our agenda. Many of our stops will not be new, but we know we have missed something at each stop.

Thanks for stopping by. Hope to see y'all back real soon. Have a great day!

  1. Hope to see you in February. We will be in Congress til the end of February, then heading to Texas on our way to New York.

  2. September is just around the corner so you're heading out real soon. I bet you already know we'll be in many of those spots. There are Elks Lodges with hookups in Scottsdale, Boulder, City and Indio. Usury Mountain is a gorgeous park outside of Mesa and Sandie's park accepts Passport America. A SKP park and Hi Lo that accepts Passport America is in Deming.

We aren't sure when we're heading south this year. Maybe not until November or perhaps even later. During the winter we will definitely be in Palm Springs, San Diego, Scottsdale, Tucson and Quartzsite but that's as far as we know.

  3. You guys are really going to be tired if you do everything on your list this year.
We won't be heading out west for a few more years. We'll be doing Florida again this year and stopping for a week in Washington before heading home. We'll be heading back to North Carolina in May and could just stop by to say hello when we're in Ohio.
    Be Safe and Enjoy!

    It's about time.

  4. ah. . .sketchy plans are the best!

Our plans include Spring Training in AZ also. . .hopefully at the Rangers Camp.

  5. We will most likely be in Quartzsite and Yuma in Jan/Feb. Hope we can meet up!

  6. Looks like you have some great plans for the winter. You never know we just be able to meet up in Arizona in January. We are hoping to be in that area sometime around then but like you our plans are never firm.

  7. We will look forward to seeing some great photos of all the interesting places, people, and things you will encounter. It will be a fun ride. Lots of driving, but Paul's up for it, right? He can do just about anything!!! (Of course, that's why you married him, right?)

  8. You could stop by Imperial NWR while you're in Yuma. I'll be there all winter. :)

  9. Looks like we will see you someplace in January!

  10. maybe we will finally cross paths since we will be wintering in San Diego, Yuma, and the Mesa area... at least that is our plans right now ;)

  11. Charleston has limited RV parks, but Marietta/Parkersburg has a lot to see-- The Mortuary Museum and Blennerhasit Island. Greenville, SC has the free BMW musuem. I love Mount Airy, NC and Mayberry RV park (PA).

There is a PA park across the street from us in Casa Grande, AZ. Are you planning to attend the Escapade and the National Good Sam Rally in AZ in March?

The Pyrotechnic show in Lake Havasau City is worth attending.

Roswell, NM is interesting and there is a nice elks there.

  12. That is a pretty ambitious schedule, but looks like mucho fun. Toward the end I will watch for you on the on ramps with your 'I'll work for food" signs.

  13. Well I'm sure we will see you in one of those South-West places. We hope to be in some of them as well. No idea where or when yet but we'll save that decision for after we get to wherever it is we are going to get to:))

  14. We will definitely be seeing you in Q and also in AJ. And who knows. maybe somewhere else along the road. Have a great time and be safe.

  15. I'm sure we will meet up in several places if we time it right. I was exhausted just reading your plans...another three years in six months:) Glad you are chilling in TX for the holidays. Will you fly home for Christmas? Can't wait to see you two again!!

  16. We, too, will be in the RGV January and February. I have two nephews and their families who live in Wytheville, VA. One of their wives work at the Walmart. Where are you staying while there?

  17. Great travel plans! We'll be in our usual spot in Palm Springs/Desert Hot Springs from Jan. thru March!

  18. Wow ... that's quite the plan. In the midst of planning as I am, I am envious of anyone who's got their plans nailed down.

  19. Looks like a lot of fun. We will be in Goodyear until March 8th when we head to Tucson for Escapade.

  20. looking forward to seeing you guys in Arizona! Our plans are less formed than yours, but we know we'll be around there in Jan and Feb.

  21. Dec, Jan, Feb, March we will be in the Arizona, California area a lot of those places on you list, not sure when exactly or how we will get there but Quartzsite for a few weeks to enjoy the rv show and stuff, Yuma, Mexico, Borrego Springs, Desert hot springs, some of our favourite areas.
I am sure we will finally meet up with you along the way.

  22. We will be in AZ and So Cal during the times you are planning to be there. Really hope to meet the two of you this winter.

  23. You guys are really going to be covering some area!!! Great travel plans!!

  24. Well Im sad, we will be nowhere where you will be on those months, nada.
Okey, maybe next year our path will crossed.
