Sunday, July 24 – Just a quick update on Paul’s knee replacement this past Tuesday. The surgery went super. The doctor told Marsha he had to use the biggest knee they make. Marsha told the doctor, “Now he will think he is the MAN!”
Paul is doing all his home exercises and begins PT on Monday. He is able to handle the pain…with a little help from his capsule friends.
Thanks to all our family and friends for your prayers, good thoughts, emails and phone calls. We are truly blessed to have you all in our lives.
Marsha wanted to share some of her wildlife friends.
Thanks for stopping by. Hope to see y’all back real soon. Have a great day.
Hope you're healing quickly.
ReplyDeleteGlad all went well and that he has a speedy recovery.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear hear he as a positive attitude.
DeleteI have no doubt that Paul will attack PT with gusto. He'll be remodeling soon. Lol glad to hear all went well.

ReplyDeleteGood to see Paul smiling, but I know it is not all sunny out there:) That is quite the machine, Paul. Wishing great success with your new knee:)
ReplyDeleteYou have quite a collection of little friends, Marsha. The birds are beautiful, especially that last little guy:) I imagine Bella enjoys watching them.
Glad to see Paul with a smile on his face. Definitely medically induced. Hopefully his rehabilitation will be complete before it's time to head south this fall. Just hope he doesn't overdo it and create his own setback. I'm sure Bella will sense Paul's illness and stick close to him during his recovery.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures of natures little friends.
Be Safe and Enjoy!
It's about time.
It'll just be a short time and Paul will be out doing what he was doing before only he'll feel much better about it. Glad he's getting this behind him. Love the birds.
ReplyDeleteHappy healing, well not too happy...
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear/see Paul is mending well. Love your feathered friends. Hope you're staying cool and not melting like the rest of us :-)
ReplyDeleteThrilled to hear Paul is doing so well.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear the surgery went well. Paul looks a little too happy. His capsule friends must be working!
ReplyDeleteGlad it over and all went well. Not the best summer in Ohio to be recovering from any kind of surgery... keep cool and get better soon!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear the knee replacement went well for Paul. I am sure he heard this from his doctor and others, but my doctor really stressed how important the 6 weeks of PT after knee surgery pretty much defines how well the healing process will be.
ReplyDeleteI went through it for both knees in one year and did the PT the proper way and my knees are fine now. Hang in there Paul and this will just be a distant memory in a while.
Good to see him using a CPM machine at home. That helped me a LOT! Do remind him straight as important as bent, though. I didn't make it all the way to straight during therapy which affected my back.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear he is doing well.
ReplyDeletePaul, good luck with the rehab
ReplyDeleteNice to hear that Paul came through the surgery with flying colours. Hope his recovery time goes by quickly and that he doesn't try to over do things to quickly.
ReplyDeleteLove all the birds you have at your place. Looks like they get well fed, guess that's why they hang around. :-)
We hope THE MAN is continuing to improve with each passing day. Sending prayers for a speedy recovery. Doing all the exercises is the key to a good outcome.
ReplyDeleteRooting for a quick recovery, the pain free type,
ReplyDeleteYaa for Paul. . . I've never known anyone who wasn't so glad once all the agony was over.
ReplyDeleteHappy healing thoughts coming your way.

ReplyDeleteI'm doing a bit of catching up and learning of Paul's surgery. I'm thankful that the surgery went well. The physical therapy is the secret to the best recovery. You go Paul.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see Paul is smiling despite that heavy cast. Sorry Im late to the party, Im having too much fun. :(
ReplyDeleteBird photos are always high on list and you got some pretty captures there.
